Oilserv treats the workforce as the greatest and most important asset. The major criterion for recruiting personnel is merit. Merit is the basic criterion for employment while every staff is judged on the basis of his ability, suitability and results delivery for specific tasks and positions. Group MD / CEO - Emeka Okwuosa

He is a seasoned engineer, administrator, entrepreneur and a visionary with over 27 years of experience in engineering in the following areas: maintenance and operations, teaching, wireline logging and interpretation, seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation, pipeline engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project management, drilling and drilling services. Some of these activities span Europe, North Africa, West Africa, Gulf of Guinea/Central Africa and Indonesia.

Emeka strongly believes in the development of indigenous capacity in Petroleum Industry in Nigeria, in particular, and Africa in general, in a way that will establish a self sustaining and effective technology base that guarantees serious and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria. Emeka is the founder and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the following companies:

Oilserv LIMITED: Pipeline/Facilities Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance Company that has wide ranging activities in the Niger Delta and across Nigeria. Oilserv is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

FRAZIMEX LIMITED: An integrated Oil and Gas engineering, drilling, E&P and asset ownership company. FRAZIMEX is ISO 9001:2008 certified. The following companies are under Frazimex Limited:

FRAZIMEX ENERGY SERVICES LTD:the first indigenous company to own and operate Swamp Drilling rigs in Nigeria. Following three years of partnership with Transocean Inc (the largest drilling company in the world), Frazimex acquired two swamp drilling rigs from Transocean, viz.: Searex-VI and Searex-XII.

FRAZIMEX ENGINEERING LTD: An engineering design company that works closely with Oilserv Ltd in EPC activities. Frazimex Engineering has developed several Nigerian engineers in design of pipelines and facilities and currently executes several jobs in the field.

FRAZIMEX SIERRA LEONE LIMITED: Owns and operates Block SL3, offshore Sierra Leone.

Emeka attended the University of IFE, ILE - IFE, where he graduated in flying colours in Electronics and Electrical Engineering in 1982. Following graduation, Emeka started his career as management trainee (engineering) with Nigerian Breweries Limited.

A year after commencing with NBL, Emeka joined Schlumberger Energy Services as a Field Engineer, where he worked as an International Staff in the Oil and Gas Sector in different parts of the world; Europe (Pau, France), North Africa (Libya), West Africa (Mauritania, Senegal, Cote D'Ivoire, Ghana), Gulf of Guinea/Central Africa (Nigeria, Benin Republic, Cameroun, Gabon, Congo and Angola) and Indonesia.

While in Schlumberger, his experience spanned the positions of a field Engineer, Base Manager, Equipment / Tool Test Coordinator and Technical Manager. Emeka Okwuosa is a member of the following International Professional bodies:

      • Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
      • Society of Professional Well Log Analysts (SPWLA).
      • Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN).
      • Professional Pipeline Association of Nigeria (PLAN) (Executive Secretary).

Emeka has received several awards in the course of practice of Oil and as Engineering services all over the world.

Chief Operating Officer - Chris Okonkwo

He had his Secondary School Education at St. Thomas College, Ibusa in Delta State of Nigeria. He attended the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State where he obtained his degree in Accountancy.

He has acquired Twenty Eight (28) years experience in accountancy; having worked in various accounting and non accounting Firm in various capacities, namely: General Manager, Business Supporting Services, Group General Manager, Finance and Control, Financial Controller, Finance and Administration Manager, Consultant and Chief Financial Officer.

He was involved in special projects as;

      • Member Project 2000 Committee on the re-definition of Pricewaterhouse corporate objectives for the new millenium
      • Member of Job evaluation Committee, Pricewaterhouse
      • Member Technical Committee in the setting up of a Pension Fund Administrator

He has participated in various professional courses and currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer with Oilserv Limited and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

BASE MANAGER- Eugene Chibuikem

He is an Honours graduate of the College of Technology Owerri in Imo State, where he obtained his HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. He later proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Akwa where he obtained his post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Masters Degree (M.Eng),all in Electrical /Electronic Engineering. He has acquired over (21) years experience in Oil and Gas Industry operations and attended several Technical and HSE courses both locally and internationally.

He has held various positions at different times for various Oil Exploration firms, ranging from Instrument Engineer and Seismic Observer to project and Crew Manager ,working in various Exploration projects (OML 17,OML 16/21, OML 22/28, OML 53) for various clients including S.P.D.C

He has participated in various professional seminars, trainings and workshops and he is a member of Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE). Currently, he is the Base Manager of Oilserv Limited.

PROJECTS CONTROLLER - Chigozie Obi

He is a Honours graduate of the University of Benin in Edo State, where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering( B.Eng.). Upon his graduation, he has acquired over Eleven (11) years experience in Oil and Gas Industry Operations in various fields.

Currently, he is the Projects Controller of Oilserv Limited. He has participated in various professional seminars and workshops and he is a member of; Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

HR Manager - Fieldman Okwuanyionu

He attended the University of Benin where he graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he obtained a degree in Masters of Managerial Psychology (MMP), in 1999.

He has over 19 years of robust Human Resources Management and Administration experience at both operational and strategic levels.

He had his National Service at JOF Ideal Farms Ltd, Owo, Ondo State, and was retained as Executive Officer (Human Resources and Administration) at the end of the National Service in 1991.

He joined Nigerian Breweries Plc in 1994. Between 1994 and 2005, he worked in various capacities in Nigerian Breweries Plc including Human Resources Manager (Nigerian Breweries Plc - Soft drinks Division, Lagos), Human Resources Manager (Nigerian Breweries Plc, Kaduna), Human Resources Manager (Nigerian Breweries Plc, Aba), Human Resources Manager (Nigerian Breweries Plc, Enugu).

He moved to Frazimex Ltd in January 2006 as Corporate Human Resources and Administration Manager.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and has attended various professional development programs within and outside Nigeria.
